Riverton Parke Junior High School competed in the Junior Academic Super Bowl at Sarah Scott Middle School on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Riverton Parke Junior High competed in Class 4 this year along with Barr-Reeve Middle School, North Vermillion Jr. High School, Parke Heritage Middle School, Rivet Middle School, and South Knox Middle School. Among the Top Ten finishers at the state level, was the English team! They placed first in the regional competition and were ranked 8th in the state. The Social Studies team placed second at the regional and finished 14th in the state. The math team earned a third place ranking in the regional contest and placed 13th in the state. This year’s contest theme was “The End of the Second Millennium: The 1980s and 1990s.” The Indiana Academic Super Bowl is a program of the Indiana Association of School Principals. The teams were coached by Brandi Adams (English), Cortney Passmore (science), Lucas Steward (social studies), and Lucas Mackey (math). Brandi Adams is the junior high school academic coordinator.
