Panthers Crown Homecoming King and Queen

Fall Homecoming King & QueenRiverton Parke High School celebrated its annual Fall Homecoming last Friday. Seniors A.J. Goff and Lizzy Leitgabel were named King and Queen at the halftime ceremonies. 

King A.J. is the son of David and Ellen Goff. While at RP, A.J. has been a 4-year FFA member and has participated in varsity football for 2 years, varsity baseball for 3 years, and the WRTCE Welding Program for 2 years. He is also a 10-year 4-H member. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family. After graduation, A.J. plans to join the Local 157 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union as a welder.

Queen Lizzy is the daughter of Sean and Tricia Leitgabel. While at RP, she has played varsity softball for 4 years and been a member of the National Honor Society for 2 years. She has played travel softball for 10 years. Lizzy loves to read, go to concerts, and spend time with friends and family. After graduation, Lizzy plans to attend IU Southeast to play softball and major in Biology.

Halftime also included a  class float display that was enjoyed by all. Homecoming week, with a theme of “Haunted Homecoming,” concluded with the senior class earning the most spirit points for the class wall, dress up days, and pep session games.
