College Challenge Class Enjoys Study Trip

The College Challenge United States History class continued the tradition of touring Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute on Friday, October 25. Former teacher, Mike Lunsford, volunteered his day as the class’ tour guide, showing students the cemetery, focusing on famous and influential people buried there. Highland Lawn was placed on the National Register and State Registry of Historic Places in 1990. It is recognized as one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the country and the second largest in the state of Indiana.
