The Riverton Parke High School and Junior High JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) classes organized and hosted a career fair for students at Riverton Parke Jr.-Sr. High School, grades 7 through 12. High School and Jr High JAG students were responsible for compiling a list of businesses and organizations to invite, contacting those businesses, and assisting with setting up and tearing down the day of the event. Riverton Parke JAG had over 40 businesses and organizations participate or donate to JAG's inaugural career fair.
Those students attending the Career Fair were encouraged to interact with as many representatives as time allowed, and in which they had an interest in learning more information about. After visiting at least five tables, students were entered into a drawing for prizes. Drawing prizes were donated by The Rusted Root, McDonald's in Rockville, and Riverton Parke Jr.-Sr. High School.
