After receiving two generous grants to purchase cabinets and totes for the Riverton Parke Jr.-Sr. High School Clothing Closet, two students took on the task of organizing the current items. Malee McElroy and Hazelle Hill have donated their study hall time recently to sort, fold, and organize the items in hopes that the Clothing Closet will be more efficient, more accessible to students, and reduce the amount of time required to find and retrieve requested items. Throughout the last decade, teachers at Riverton Parke have partnered with community members and organizations to provide clothes, school supplies, and personal hygiene products to students in need.
