Riverton Parke FFA Holds Annual Seed and Silent Auction

The Riverton Parke FFA Chapter held their Annual Seed and Silent Auction on Thursday, February 16th at the Parke County Fairgrounds.  This event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the chapter and supports the various activities and events the Riverton Parke FFA members participate in.  Through their fundraising efforts, the chapter was able to raise over $23,000.  Chapter President, Sarah Brown, stated, “We were blown away by the generosity of our community.  From the local businesses and families who donated over one hundred auction items to the individuals who came to bid on items, we are so thankful for everyone who helped us raise these funds.  Our FFA members will have so many different opportunities over the next year because of everyone’s support of our chapter.”  The Riverton Parke FFA advisors are Micah Humphreys and Michaela Woods.
