The Riverton Parke High School Academic Super Bowl teams competed well last night at the competition in Greencastle. The math team placed first; the English team placed second; the social studies team placed second; the science team placed third; and the fine arts team placed third, in the Class 4 senior division.
\r\nThe Indiana Academic Super Bowl is sponsored by the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP). The theme this year was “The Age of Exploration.”
\r\nTeam coaches were Claudia Overpeck (English), Chalen Chambers (science and math), Chet Dickey (social studies), and Rachel Vicars (fine arts).
BREAKING NEWS: The RP math team has qualified for the state competition! They placed 6th in the state and have been invited to the Academic Super Bowl state finals on May 6, 2023 at Purdue University.
