Two Riverton Parke Jr. High School robotics teams participated in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition held at Parke Heritage Middle School last Saturday. Twenty-two teams from the area competed. Both RP teams qualified for the finals of the competition. The teams finished in 8th and 9th place for the day.
Robotics encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, passion, and problem-solving among groups, while also supporting the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering, and math.
