Twelve Riverton Parke FFA members had the opportunity to attend the 92nd National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis from October 30th to November 1st. While at the convention, members participated and attended many different activities and events including a ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour of the Dolphin Exhibit at the Indianapolis Zoo, the World’s Toughest Rodeo, the Brett Young concert, the Opening Session of the convention (where members heard from guest speaker, Bob Goff, and the retiring address of the National FFA President, Luke O’Leary), two general sessions, various student workshops designed to help members develop premier leadership, personal growth, and career success, and the National FFA Expo where members interacted with various agriculture employers and college representatives. There were over 69,000 FFA members and guests in attendance for the 92nd National FFA Convention. Advisors Michaela Woods and Micah Humphreys chaperoned the students on the trip.
