Ivy Tech Community College is excited to offer the Summer Healthcare Academy, a free program for high school students and recent graduates interested in exploring healthcare careers. This hands-on experience allows students to dive into the healthcare field while earning Ivy Tech college credits at no cost!
Participants will engage in simulation and lab demonstrations, skills training in medical lab, medical assisting, respiratory care, and more. They’ll also benefit from career coaching, resume writing support, and field trips to enhance their learning experience.
This eight-week course is scheduled from June 9 to July 30, 2025. Students will enjoy free lunch daily and earn up to $300 in gift cards throughout the program. Classes meet Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
