Riverton Parke Jr.-Sr. High School senior, Hazelle Hill, has been selected by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education to receive the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year. She will be awarded $10,000 for her first year of college, with half being distributed in the fall semester, and the remaining half being distributed in the spring semester. This scholarship is renewable for three additional years provided 30 academic hours are completed with at least a 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA. Hill must agree to teach at an eligible Indiana school for five years following college graduation. Hill plans to attend Indiana State University and major in Elementary Education.
