Duties include assisting students with entry and exit, properly securing students in seats with safety belts, and monitoring students throughout travel. The Southwest Parke Community School Corporation Board of Trustees will meet Monday, October 28, 2024 at 7 PM in the Corporation Office to conduct the first preliminary determination hearing regarding a proposed general obligation bond. The public is invited to attend and provide comment.
Reminder: FFA Food Drive Competition. Students - Bring in 5 food items, or donate $5 and earn a pink panther themed t-shirt (Pink-Out Game). Limited number of shirts, so please donate soon! This competition is between RP and PH. Winning school receives bragging rights and a new traveling trophy for the remainder of the year.

Good Morning: This week is College Go Week. As part of that, IU Health will be visiting RP and landing on the school grounds in a helicopter on Tuesday @ 9:00am. Our JAG Teachers have made this opportunity possible. While they are here, IU will be presenting career information to our students. #GoRP.
The Indiana Immunization Coalition is organizing a health and resource fair in Parke County. The Parke County Health Fair will be at the Parke County Fairgrounds on October 30th from 4-7PM. All services offered are free to the participants and vendors. See the flyer for more information.
The September 11, 2024 and October 9, 2024 meetings of the Southwest Parke School Board will be held in the Riverton Parke High School Library. Both meetings begin at 7 PM. Members of the public are encouraged to attend School Board meetings to stay informed about the happenings of the school corporation.

We still have a lot of parents/guardians that have not filled out registration paperwork online. Students will not receive their school device until that is complete. Please go onto Harmony Family Access to complete your paperwork as soon as possible. We look forward to seeing all of the students tomorrow!
